About this product

Like any steel surface, it shows fine knife marks with use. That does not affect how it works. Use it with the knives you already have; if you want to keep a knife at its sharpest, use a wooden or plastic board for that knife and this one for prep, dough and serving.

The folded lip hooks over the front edge of the counter, which keeps the board in place while you cut. On a counter without an edge to hook onto, put a damp towel underneath.
Will it scratch?
